Joint EU-GCC Cooperation Council to meet in Brussels on Monday

Brussels, 12/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - The 16th meeting of the EU-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Joint Cooperation Council will take place in Brussels on Monday 15 May. Alongside examination of common action under the June 1998 agreement, the two sides will discuss events in the Middle East (security in the Gulf region, terrorism, Iran, Iraq, Middle-East and Mediterranean).
