Philippe Morillon's report approves proposal for sending data on off-loading

Brussels, 04/05/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 3 May, the EP Fisheries Committee approved, with a few adjustments, the proposal presented in November 2005 on updating rules for the transmission by Member States of data relating to the quantity and the value of fishing products off-loaded. This legislation facilitates analysis of the fisheries products market and more general analyses on the fisheries situation.
