10/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - On the sidelines of the General Affairs/External Relations Council, Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson welcomed, on Monday, the announcement made on Saturday by the Chinese Trade Ministry that assured Beijing was willing to begin WTO consultation on the customs tariffs that China applies to the spare parts of imported motor vehicles, as requested by the Commission on 30 March (EUROPE 9165).
