Spanish company GAS NATURAL officially launched a hostile takeover bid of 23 million euros for the biggest electricity company in Spain, ENDESA. Shareholders have until 19 April to make their shares available in the offer, which has the support of the Spanish government and which is designed to thwart the plans of German company E.ON (EI on 1st March).
