Planned budget cuts likely to lead to selection of "top priorities", says Jacques Barrot

Bregenz, 03/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - It is increasingly clear that there will be "super priorities" among the 30 projects selected by the European Union in 2004 to develop the trans-European transport networks (TETN). This was indicated on Thursday by the Commissioner in charge of Transport, Jacques Barrot, in an interview with EUROPE on the sidelines of the informal meeting of the transport ministers of the EU in Bregenz on 2 and 3 March.
