Brussels, 02/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament high level contact group for relations with the Turkish Cypriot community will go to Cyprus on 5-7 March to hold meetings with the president of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Christofias, as well as with several leaders from the Turkish Cypriot community (in the north of the island). The EP delegation will consist of Francoise Grossetête (EPP-ED, France), Mechtild Rothe (PES, Germany), Karin Resetarits (ALDE, Austria), Cem Özdemir (Greens, Germany), Francis Wurtz (GUE/NGL, France), Sean O'Neachtain (UEN, Ireland) Ryszard Czarneck (Non-attached, Poland) (see EUROPE 9140 on Council of the EU green light for regulation releasing aid of EUR 139 million for Turkish Cypriots).
