02/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission's proposal to create a Globalisation Adjustment Fund does not arouse any enthusiasm from CSU MEP Alexander Radwan (see EUROPE 9142). The Bavarian MEP says the idea of calming people's fear about globalisation through adjustment measures is a good one, but added that it is incomprehensible why financial support from Brussels is only given in the event of job transfer towards third countries.
