Mr Barrot wants safer freight transport

Brussels, 24/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - Transport Commissioner Jacques Barrot is expected at the start of next week to propose increasing freight transport safety and security within the European Union. The aim is to improve safety and security against attack for the whole land freight supply chain.
