Hopes of accession in 2007 confirmed

Strasbourg, 16/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Parliament confirmed its wishes that Bulgaria and Romania will be able to join European Union on 1 January 2007 as planned, whilst highlighting the efforts which remain to be made (EUROPE will return on the reports by French Socialist Pierre Moscovici concerning Romania and British Conservative member Geoffrey Van Orden on Bulgaria).
