14/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the Commission decided to give the green light to the joint funding of the first two Croatian projects in the ISPA (Pre-accession Instrument for Structural Policies) programme. The first project - the Karlovac Water and Wastewater Programme - relates to the environmental sector, and involves the construction of a new Waste Water Treatment Plant (around 29 million euro ISPA grant), while the second relates to rehabilitation of the railway line between Vinkovci and Tovarnik (22.5 million euro ISPA grant). Both projects will be completed by 2010.
