EP confirms its opposition to directive on human animal traps

Strasbourg, 14/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Parliament confirmed its opposition to the Commission's proposal on the directive concerning standards for humane traps for certain species of animal, with the adoption of the report by Austrian Social Democrat Karin Scheele, who recommended the proposal should be rejected.
