14/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has cleared the planned acquisition of the rheological and carbonless clay business of the German company Süd-Chemie AG (Süd-Chemie) by Rockwood Specialties Group Inc. (“Rockwood) of the US. The Commission found that the proposed transaction did not give rise to competition concerns and would not significantly impede effective competition in the EEA or any substantial part of it.
