21/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised a project by the British companies Apax Europe VI, Barclays Bank plc and Tchenguiz Family Trust (TFT) to take joint control of Somerfield plc, which is essentially a retail distribution company in the United Kingdom. The deal was examined under the simplified procedure.
