17/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - At the 51st NATO Parliamentary Assembly on 15 November, Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan distanced himself from the controversial court case and trial of Turkish novelist Orhan Pamuk. Erdogan said it was his 'clear hope that the judicial system will be in line with freedom of expression and freedom of thought'.
