Brussels, 07/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - High-ranking officials responsible for EuroMed dialogue will meet in Brussels on 8 November to prepare for the final decision approving the 27-28 November Barcelona Summit celebrating ten years of the Barcelona Process. They will also discuss organisation of the meeting of heads of state at the Summit in the light of responses to invitations sent out by the British Presidency of the Council of the EU. The officials will be briefed on progress in APEM bodies (the EuroMed Parliamentary Assembly) and preparations for the APEM special meeting in Rabat (Morocco) on 20-21 November, taking account of the 10th anniversary of the Barcelona Process. The meeting was initially scheduled to take place in the symbolically laden city of Ramallah. The EuroMed officials will be addressed by managers of EuroMesco, a EuroMed policy studies institute.
