Environment Committee calls for gradual ban of CFC gas in fridges and cars

Brussels, 20/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Environment Committee is planning to step up its campaign against CFC gas (chloro-fluo-carbon gases like HCFC, PFC or SF6), which damages the earth's ozone layer and is known to have a more damaging and long-lasting impact than carbon dioxide.
