Brussels, 04/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission presented its proposed framework decision on the protection of data of a personal nature, as dealt with in the framework of police and legal cooperation in criminal matters. Further to its proposal on the holding of telecommunication data (EUROPE 9032), this proposal is the second plank of a series of measures designed to tighten up freedom, security and justice in the European Union, in line with an action plan...
