08/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the Cypriot government repeated its wish to discuss Turkey at an extraordinary meeting of foreign affairs ministers of the EU, prior to the opening of accession negotiations with Ankara, which are planned for 3 October. "I hope we will be able to hold an emergency session of the General Affairs and External Relations Council on 26 September", said the Cypriot Minister for foreign affairs, George Iacovou, on Thursday.
