06/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - On the eve of a visit to the United States which will take him to Washington and New York from 7 to 9 September, the president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, René van der Linden, has called upon the 46 member States of the pan-European organisation to step up their aid for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
