Europeans and South Americans meet at ministerial level to seek to reactivate talks blocked for over a year

Brussels, 01/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - Europeans and South Americans are meeting at ministerial level on Friday in Brussels to seek to reactivate talks with a view to a trade, cooperation and political dialogue agreement between the EU and Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay). Talks have been deadlocked since they broke down in Lisbon last October (EUROPE 8812).
