26/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - Reinhard Butikofer, Federal President of Bundnis90/Die Grunen in Germany, will be attending a meeting at Aix-la-Chapelle (Aachen) on 27 August between Dutch and Belgian Greens to discuss how to get out of the crisis caused by the French and Dutch 'No' votes to the European Constitution, and how to extend cooperation between countries in this part of Europe. A press release explains that Alexander de Roo (De Groenen, the Netherlands) and Philippe Lamberts and Hans Niessen (Ecolo, Belgium), along with Reinhard Butikofer, will be participating in an open-air debate on measures needed to relaunch the European integration process and on the social and economic impact of the Europe project in Germany/Belgium/the Netherlands.
