Brussels, 23/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - The International European Movement (IEM) has launched a new interactive website as part of a broad information campaign for citizens launched for 2005/2006: “myEurope@home - Young people to Young people: building a European identity in an enlarged Union”. The campaign targets young people aged between 17 and 26 and offers more than 170 cultural events held in 18 European countries. The site (http: //http://www.europeanmovement.org/myeurope ) gives regularly updated information on the campaign. It includes an interactive discussion forum, news and links to the main sources of information for each Member State. It also invites young people to take part in a competition giving their vision of Europe with regard to the issue of European identity, but also the problems, doubts and fears created by the enlarged Europe. These testimonies will be published on the site. The authors of those considered to be the most representative will win a number of prizes (among them HP computers and digital cameras).
