23/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - Confrontations Europe (headed by former MEP Philippe Herzog) and the Association Sarajevo are holding a conference on 6 and 7 October in Sarajevo on the theme Dialogue and partnerships to meet the challenge of development in Bosnia-Herzegovina. In a press release, Claude Fischer, the General Secretary of Confrontations, indicates that the organisers have favoured dialogue on the socio-economic issues. Among the participants will be Catherine Colonna, the French European Affairs Minister, Osman Topcagic, who is responsible for European integration in the Bosniak government, Michael Humphreys, the head of the European Commission Delegation in Bosnia, Srjan Dizdarevic, the Director of the Helsinki Committee for human rights, Edhem Biber, the President of the Bosniak Confederation of Independent Trade Unions, Peter Seideneck, from the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), and Dirk Reinermann, the Director of the bureau of the World Bank in Sarajevo.
