19/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given the go-ahead for Italy's Comifar S.p.A., belonging to the German company Phoenix, to buy up A&C Adivar-Comifar S.p.A, another Italian company. Phoenix (in Europe) and Comifar (only in Italy) sell pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical products, an industry where A&C is also active in Italy. The deal was examined using the simplified procedure.
