27/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday the European Commission adopted a regulation prohibiting fishing of forkbeards in certain Community and international waters by boats flying the German flag (Western Scotland, Irish Sea, Channel, Celtic Sea, Iceland and the Faeroe Islands. Germany has exhausted its quota for this stock for 2005. the regulation was published in Official Journal L 195 on 27 July 2005.
