Negotiation directives for fishing agreement

Brussels, 12/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - At last Thursday's meeting of Coreper, the Member States of the EU reached agreement on the negotiation directives for a fishing agreement with Morocco. The text will be formally adopted on 18 July by the Agriculture/Fisheries Council (EUROPE 8970). The first round of negotiations for a “partnership agreement” with Morocco will start at the end of July.
