Public transport must be a priority for combating poverty in Africa, IUPT states

Brussels, 11/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - The International Union of Public Transport (IUPT) and its African section, AUPT, sent a letter last week to the leaders of the G8 countries drawing their attention to the role that public transport plays in combating poverty in Africa.
