Commission sends reasoned opinions to nine Member States lagging behind in transposing biofuel legislation

Brussels, 07/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the Commission sent reasoned opinions to Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal and Slovenia for not having met their obligations under Directive 2003/30/EC of May 2003 aimed at promoting the use of biofuels and other renewable fuels in transport.
