22/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - British Conservative James Elles MEP, at the European Parliament since 1984 and founder of the Transatlantic Policy Network, which brings together different parties interested in trans-Atlantic relations in the areas of security, growth and democratic values has been awarded the Transatlantic Business Award 2005 at the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU (AmCham). Claudio Murri, president of AmChamb underlined the importance that “companies of American parentage in the EU” attribute to the work accomplished by James Elles (notably his recent document on opportunities for obtaining a trans-Atlantic market by 2015.
