22/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 23 June, on the initiative of Commissioner Vladimir Spidla, the Commission will launch its new Restructuring Forum in Brussels. During the event, national and regional governments, European social partners and civil society will give their views on the Commission communication of last March on “Employment and restructuring: planning for and accompanying change” (EUROPE 8918). The Luxembourg minister of labour and employment François Biltgen, the president of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso and the president of the European Parliament Josep Borrell will be taking part in the work on which EUROPE will be returning.
