EU25 reaffirm support for Iraq

Brussels, 17/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Council in Brussels reaffirmed the EU's commitment to fully implement its aid programme for Iraq. In the conclusions document, it hailed the adoption by the Council of 13 June of the operations plan for the integrated EU/JUST LEX rule of law mission whereby a training programme will be launched on 1 July for Iraqi judges, police and prison officers.
