Brussels, 17/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The annual rate of inflation in the euro zone was 1.9% in May, compared to 2.1% in April and 2.5% in May 2004. In the EU of 25, the rate was at the same level (1.9%), having also reached 2.1% in April and 2.4% in May 2004. Sweden (0.2%), Finland (0.6%), the Czech Republic (0.9%) and the Netherlands (1.1%) saw the lowest rates, and Latvia (6.5%), Luxembourg (3.7%), Hungary (3.5%) and Greece (3.2%) had the highest rates.
