Commission presents new State aid policy

Brussels, 07/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - As announced, the European Commission presented its State Aid Action Plan on Tuesday, setting out the main lines of the far-reaching reform that it plans to undertake over the next five years (EUROPE 8959). The Commission explains how it plans to use public funding to encourage Member States to contribute to achieving the Lisbon goals by focusing aid on improving competitiveness in the industrial sector and on the creation of sustainable employment...
