Brussels, 13/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The first estimations of growth in the first quarter of 2005 show an increase of 0.5% in GDP, in the euro zone and the EU25. There has been a considerable upturn in economic activity after the poor performances of the last quarter of 2004, during which growth stood at 0.2% and 0.3% respectively.
