Brussels, 03/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by Christa Klass (EPP-ED, Germany) on the protection of groundwater against pollution, the European Parliament took a stance on 28 April during first reading on a proposal of directive dated September 2003, which aims to establish Community-wide quality objectives and make it compulsory for Member States to monitor and evaluate the quality of groundwater and to protect groundwater against indirect pollution from...
