Brussels, 06/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The final declaration adopted by the “Future of European Cohesion Policy and its Funding” on 6 April in Brussels stated that, “EU structural and cohesion policy clearly results from the added value obtained at a European level. This policy has always contributed to reducing delays in regional development; we reject any kind of re-nationalisation of cohesion policy as proposed by some Member States”.
