Inigo Mendez de Vigo, President of European Fourth World Committee

Brussels, 14/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The new European Parliament Intergroup, the European Fourth World Committee, has elected Inigo Mendez de Vigo (EPP-Ed, Spain) as its president as well as four vice-presidents: Martine Roure (PES, France), Bronislaw Geremek (ALDE, Poland), Jean Lambert (Greens/EFA, UK) and Ilda Figueiredou (GUE/NGL, Portugal). Martine Roure, former chairperson, stressed the extent to which the former legislature allowed the Intergroup's work (begun nearly 25 years ago)...
