Legislative programme for the Commission in 2005: the position of the European Parliament

On 25 February in Strasbourg the European Parliament approved by 264 votes for, 201 votes against, with 37 abstentions, the legislative programme of the European Commission for 2005. As opposed to the practice of recent years, the Socialist group did not associate with this compromise resolution this time, presented by the other main political groups.
