Commission to open a call for tenders for cereals in intervention stocks

Brussels, 01/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission should soon start opening tenders for the export of cereals in intervention stocks in order to help the landlocked states of central Europe to reduce their surpluses, said Agriculture and Rural Development Commissioner Mariann Fischer Boel at Monday's Agriculture and Fisheries council.
