15/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 14 February, the European Commission adopted a decision granting Italy partial exemption lasting three years (until 31 December 2006) concerning the despatch of data on offloading of fishing products in Member States. This technical decision published in the Official Journal L43 of 15 February 2005 allows account to be taken of the very heavy burden of work imposed on national authorities for collecting such data.
