17/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of Eve Belgium by Allianz Capital Partners Gmbh (ACP) of Germany and Apax UK. Apax will acquire a 49% stake in the issued share capital of Eve, which is currently solely controlled by ACP. Eve manufactures industrial gearboxes. The deal was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
