Lifting of restrictions on Argentinian bovine meat

Brussels, 12/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday evening the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health (made up of representatives from Member States) decided to lift measures in application since September 2003 (EUROPE 11 September 2003) suspending bovine meat imports into the EU from certain regions in Argentinean affected by foot and mouth disease.
