Brussels, 05/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, after closing the applications procedure for the successor to Supachai Panitchpakdi at the post of Director General at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on 1 September 2005, the WTO made an official announcement disclosing the four candidates still in the running: Pascal Lamy (EU candidate), Carlos Perez del Castillo (Uruguay), Jaya Krishna Cuttaree (Mauritius) and Luiz Felipe de Seixas Corrêa (Brazil).
