20/12/2004 (Agence Europe) - At the beginning of December, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer published a brochure entitled 'Finding a way through the co-decision maze - A step-by-step guide to the EU's co-decision procedure', which guides readers through the maze of legislative procedures utilised by the European Union. It is an update of a publication from 2001, including the impact of enlargement to the EU's current 25 Member States and the changes agreed at Nice. Lawyers for the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer are distributing the brochure to national administrations, and the updated version is again a highly useful and detailed tool for daily life in the EU. The pocket-sized manual is small and compact (16 pages long). (Address in Brussels: Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Bastion Tower, Place du Champ du Mars 5, B-1050 Brussels.
