Committee on Constitutional Affairs (minus French Socialists and British Conservatives) say "yes" to Constitution and recommend Member States ratify it - EP to vote on 12 January

Brussels, 30/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Committee on Constitutional Affairs of the European Parliament adopted the report by British and Spanish members Richard Corbett (PES) and Inigo Mendez de Vigo (EPP-ED) on Tuesday, giving a favourable opinion to the Constitutional Treaty and recommending that the 25 Member States of the EU ratify it without delay.
