Brussels, 26/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - At its plenary meeting of 18 November in Brussels, the Commission of the Bishops' Conference of the European Union (COMECE), which brings together Catholic bishops from the Member States of the EU, welcomed the confirmation of the Barroso Commission, but regretted the fact that in the Buttiglione affair, some MEPs showed a certain "intolerance of the personal beliefs of the Commissioner designate".
