Council expected to endorse Barroso's new team on 19 November - Agreement expected on researchers - Other issues

Brussels, 12/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - European sources suggest that the 19 November Justice and Home Affairs Council will formally endorse the decision approving the new Barroso Commission, assuming the European Parliament gives its agreement in the vote in Strasbourg on 18 November. Jose Manuel Barroso's team could then start work on Monday 22 November.
