Brussels, 22/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The EU's position continues to be "defence of the Roadmap" for the Middle East Peace Process in all its elements, and the Union will "do everything it can" to accelerate implementation, High Representative for CFSP Javier Solana told the press after his meeting with Nabeel Shaath, Foreign Minister of the Palestinian Authority, in Brussels on Friday (see EUROPE of 15 October, p;5, on the subject of Mr Solana's speech at the European Parliament).
