Commission withdraws proposals on oil stocks - Further proposals may prove necessary in future

Brussels, 21/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission announced in a press release that "given the institutional deadlock in the Parliament and Council", it has decided to withdraw the legislative proposals of September 2002 to reform the Community management of oil stock.
