13/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 13 October, Cambodia became the 148th member of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). At the present time, no fewer than 24 countries are negotiating their membership: Algeria, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Belarus, Ukraine, Sudan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Seychelles, Tonga, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Andorra, Laos, Samoa, Lebanon, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bhutan, Cape Verde, Yemen, Serbia and Montenegro, Bahamas, Tajikistan, Ethiopia and Libya.
